Technical Manager – Paper and Plastics Consumables Job in Canton 02021, Massachusetts US

Specialized Technology Resources, (STR), is a global provider of quality assurance and laboratory testing services for the consumer products industry.

We are seeking an individual with a technical background in the Paper and Plastics industries that can serve as a subject matter expert for our staff and clients.

Position Summary: Manage and coordinate assigned client accounts in the paper and plastics consumables industries as well as support our testing laboratories.

Establish and maintain client relationships by satisfying technical needs in a professional, expeditious and cost effective manner.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Organize and coordinate assigned client account work in a timely and profitable manner2 Utilize technical knowledge to follow up on client inquiries, resolve problems3 Prepare, complete and communicate project schedules, proposals, technical reports, and specifications.

4. Advise and guide the corporation with respect to client inquiries and projects; utilizing technical competency in the paper and plastics disciplines.

5. Train and advise internal departments to ensure strong business support.

6. Maintain up to date knowledge of regulations and product expertise.

Job Requirements: · Education and experience: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Masters’ degree preferred, in a related field and 5-10 years industry.

· Additional relevant experience: Proven technical knowledge in paper and plastics.

Strong client relationship building experience, excellent presentation, written and verbal skills.

· Ability to use judgment in technical, client services and management issues.

Effective computer and communication skills, written and verbal.

· Experience with MS Word, Excel and Access.

· Familiarity with government agencies and regulations as they apply to the consumer/health care industries.
