DescriptionMedline is looking for a qualified, experienced candidate to manage an IS team supporting Medlines International Team, primarily in the SAP ERP landscape.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage a team of 6-8 analysts to effectively provide solutions in the areas of International Sales, Operations, Inventory Management and Finance.Act as a business relationship manager accountable for the collection, analysis, review, documentation and communication of business needs and requirements to the IT organization.Act as liaison between the supported business units and other IT staff.
Translate needs from functional to technical (and vice versa) when facilitating these discussions.
Viewed as integral to the business in any decisions that may be affected by technology.
Develop, refine and enforce standards, policies and procedures related to application development and configuration of enterprise systems.
Leads a team responsible for the gathering of business needs as well as the design of solutions through direct interaction with the business unit leaders.
Focuses on developing and improving business processes at all times, assisting with the development of metrics, both within the IT and business organizations.
Understands information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business.
Stays in touch with the short and long term direction of the business and technology.
Identifies, proposes and influences business solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple business customers or organizations.
Ensures that implemented solutions allow for growth and flexibility in the business through effective use of technology.
Ensures that the supply chain systems are supported around the clock.
This position has personnel responsibility for direct reports, including hiring, coaching and corrective action.
Required skills should include: Education: Four year degree required, plus three to five years in a managerial role or equivalent experience.
Experience: Performance-driven, with proven leadership skills, project management skills, and business acumen.
Outstanding knowledge of business processes and interrelationships within SAP functional areas.At least two years in a leadership role, preferably with responsibility for delivering and supporting solutions within the SAP FI/CO, SD and some WMS.Excellent presentation skills with solid oral and written communication capabilities, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
3 to 5 years of work experience in management of systems/application development and support functions.
3 to 5 years working with SAP Functional areas as they relate to Sales, Finance, Operations and Inventory Management.
Preferred experience working with: Enterprise project management applications, such as MS ProjectSAP ER
